Terms of use

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Knocklog is a service of Workers Tecnologia Ltda, based in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil ("Knocklog", "we"). These terms govern your use of Knocklog: the website knocklog.ai, the free site check, projects and reports, the API at api.knocklog.ai, the MCP server and the emails we send. By creating a project, using the API or MCP server, or subscribing to a paid plan, you accept these terms. If you act for a company, you confirm that you can accept them on its behalf.

What Knocklog does

Knocklog shows which AI agents and other automated clients visit a website, checks whether they are who they claim to be, and reports what they read. It works from requests your site sends us through a Cloudflare Worker, from access logs you import, or from the API. The free site check reads public pages of a site (robots.txt, the homepage and llms.txt) and identifies itself as KnocklogScanner.

Projects and keys

There are no passwords. Each project has an ingest key, used to send data, and a report key (it starts with kl_adm_), used to read the report and manage the plan. Keys are stored in a protected form we cannot read back, so we cannot show a lost key again; you can issue a new one in your account. The email confirmed in your project can also be used to sign in. Keep your keys and sign-in links private: anyone who has the report key or a valid sign-in link can see the project's report and manage its subscription.

Your responsibilities

How to read the results

Knocklog checks each agent's identity with its own methods, based on information the agent operators make public. We mark a request as spoofed only when there is positive evidence of a false claim. Anything we cannot check is reported as unverifiable, which is not an accusation. Operators change their infrastructure, so results can be incomplete or out of date. Use them as information for your own decisions, not as the only basis for decisions with legal effects. Any blocking you choose to apply, including through the edge shield, is your decision.

Plans and payment

Your data

The data you send stays yours. We use it to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy. We may produce aggregated statistics about AI agents (for example, which agents are active or how many requests verify) that do not identify you, your site or your visitors, and use them to improve Knocklog and in public research.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Knocklog available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation unless an Enterprise contract says otherwise. We may change or add features. If we remove a feature of a paid plan that you rely on, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel without charge for the remaining period.

Intellectual property

Knocklog's software, methods, design, agent directory and texts belong to Knocklog. These terms give you the right to use the service; they do not transfer any rights in it. You may not copy, reverse engineer or resell the service, its results or its agent directory, or use them to build a competing product. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Knocklog is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including the rights of consumers under Brazilian law.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Knocklog at any time and ask us to delete a project. We may suspend or close a project that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or has unpaid charges. Where possible we will tell you first and give you time to fix the problem.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 15 days' notice on this page and, when we have your email, by email. Continuing to use Knocklog after the changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes go to the courts of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, except where the law gives a consumer the right to bring a case where they live.
